as far as i know MGW is the only place you can get them and they're a really good company to deal with, just order it up

and this is the first i hear of a "satin" handle. if you mean the silver one it's just a shorter version of the orange handle

Unless its used I don't think so. Why don't you want to order through them?

MGW FTW... I have 1 on both of my cars...Great company to deal with, & top notch product...made my old Tri Ax feel like a notchy POS...I just got a gripper knob for my 95 too & I love it...Probably the most comfortable shift knob I have had yet...

You can get it here too. http://www.stangmods.com/SearchResults.asp?Search=MGW+shifter&Search.x=13&Search.y=10 I think this is the only other place that sells it.

i dont mind MGW direct at all, i just wanted to see if i could get one cheaper from somewhere else if i bought a couple of things all together guess not lol but i think you get your moneys worth with what everyone has said.

i guess the satin handle is the silver one, cuz its non-anodized. heres the original link of where i saw the term "satin" on svtperformance

http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/showthread.php?t=303191#post3854454

and the thread they refer to from MGW with pics.

anybody got any experience with a silver handle? is it really too short (for average driving)??

MGW's shop is a 20 minute drive from my house. And their owner (George) lives just a few houses from my parents. Kinda cool, haha

I have the silver handle. It isn't too short for me and I drive mine every day. I've never used one with the orange handle so I can't say which one I prefer. I also have a Gripper shift knob and I love it!

I just installed the shifter today in my car and I love it. I ordered a shift knob with it and I thought it was the gripper knob but it is just a completely round knob. and I am not sure if I like it or not. It looks good but I don't like the way it feels.

I love my MGW as well. MGW is a private CNC manufacturer, so they are the only person who sells their products.

They have extraordinary customer service and product quality. I honestly tried to break my shifter when I got it...I simply couldn't even get it to flex!
