Hey TWOPOSGT"sFORUS,
If the world knows better, then why do you have 2 C@L 85 MM MAF's collecting dust on one of your shelves???? Have you been living in a closet? THE WHOLE WORLD KNOWS!!! Then why did you buy not 1, BUT 2 OF THEM???!!!! An your calling me a dumbazz? At least mine works and is being put to use. Your a DUMBAZZ that blew $400-$500 on 2 85 MM MAF's and their doing nothing but sitting on a shelf. Dude, just put it to rest, your not even a challenge. Oh, and one more thing. The only reason I put "Custom Tune" is because that's the mode you go into to correct Timing and A/F. I never said the Custom Tune was anything fancy. Dumbazz.

So you buy the Diablo, and scrap the 'performance tune' it comes with, then play with the A/F and Timing yourself - yep, that's custom alright. Wait, let me guess, you had to richen the A/F ratio because of the C&L MAF (since, as most people know, it just simply leans the motor out)?
Go ahead, continue to defend that stupid C&L MAF while the rest of the Mustang world knows better - dumba$$.

YOU STILL DON'T GET IT!!!!

Sure yes you can make changes with the handheld, and it could be considered a "custom" tune.

BUT DIABLO SPORT WILL ALSO MAKE A CUSTOM TUNE BEYOND THE CAPABILITES OF THE CHANGES YOU CAN MAKE WITH THE HANDHELD, maybe add more timing off the bat, switch up the A/F, put a delay for the front O2s so you don't through a code with LTs,..... They can change so many things that the handheld alone can't to make the car run right and make more power.

That is why you have so many problems. You buy it and it doesn't work off the shelf so it must be junk. The C&L is known to cause a lean condition, so a tune is in order. A Diablo with the performance tune leans out the pig rich factory A/F. So when it is used with the C&L you can not adjust it enough to get to a safe A/F. So some guys switch back to the factory tune and tune richen the car off that.

I don't have the C&L MAF. I may actually be getting one before I dyno and contact Diablo for a tune so I can tune it for the proper A/F.

And the wreck yourself comment,.... You making yourself sound like a tool, 'cause you have no idea what you are talking about and calling everyone names and ignorant, when we know a little about what we are talking about.

And my apologies to the thread starter, it has gone far off topic.
