hi,

I just bought Mickey Thompson ET Drag Slicks
http://www.summitracing.com/int/parts/mtt-3053s

and realized, that there is "Required Parts" Mickey Thompson Racing Tubes
http://www.summitracing.com/int/parts/mtt-9553/overview/

do I REALLY need those tubes for racing?
Can I use just the tires?
Isnt htere a possibility that with the tubes the tube valve can be cut off?

You don't need them. Use screw in valve stems and coat the inside of the tire in plain dish soap, it'll help it seal and mount. Don't even really need to balance them as they change shape all the time anyway but sally forth if you wish.

Dynabeads in if you don't want to balance. Greatest thing I ever did to my bike tires.
