midpipe fit????

will a 2000 mustang gt midpipe fit a 97 gt ???if not why not???

Im not sure about the 97, it should. I know that in 04 the 02 sensors plugged up in a diffrent spot, but that's the only diffrence I know of.

sock may be not, plus it has only four cats and your has six cats.

As for aftermarrket ... YES it will fit. I have my Bros GF's old X pipe off her 02 GT on my 98

the reason i wanted to use my couisns stock mid pipe i have 6 cats so i wanted to put his to eliminate 2.i live in cali so i need cats.and i think with 2 less and a stock appearing mid pipe theyll never notice anything.
