south dakota has no emmisions, which is a great thing. if i had to pass emissions on my 79 f 150 it would be interesting but i think a lot of places have a older vehicle clause thing that you dont have to worry about them.

yeah i register my car in MIch were there is no emissions either, i would hate to have to bring my steed to the sniffer every two years, 96 and up you have no problem b/c they just check for codes here in CHI. emmisions we had no problem testing nuclear weapons but we better make sure EARLS truck isn't POOOOLuting the ATmosphere

Michigan doesn't test but our neighbor to the Southeast of us has smog tests.

For those geographically challenged, I mean Ohio.

Whether or not global warming is a sham, I cannot say, but yeah, I have noticed that each winter up here doesn't seem as harsh as they were 14 years ago when I moved here.
When I first moved here, everyone rode snowmobiles every winter. Now, you'd look silly to buy one and try to use it, as we only get about 2 feet the whole season it seems.

Like we always say, if the furnace and a/c don't run in the same day, it's either July or winter.
