Well, last time it ran it was '04. It is pretty much torn apart in my grandmother's garage. I drive a semi now, so I'm not home too much, it needs quite a bit of work. I just don't know quite what to do. My grandmother wants to sell the house, and so I need to either store it or get rid of it. I don't feel like paying a whole bunch of money to keep it stored. Maby I should take all the good stuff off it and store it, or sell the parts, or just sell it as a roller.

It has lots of good stuff like GMS K-member and coil overs up front, weld wheels, HPM rear susaension, TKO500 Tranny, Spec III clutch.... and a bunch of other goodies. I don't want to just junk it, but I just don't know what to do.

Any suggestions?

Post an ad on Stangnet. If you do, please send me the link for it, if I don't take it, I know of a few guys around hee looking for some Fox Body projects. I have access to a trailer or dolly so pickup wouldn't be a problem

Part it out. Body and drive train parts, youll make more money. I know that tranny will go pretty easy.

If theres some sort of emotional attachment think of it like a business deal.
If your ARE attached and find a storage spot your just gonna wind up laying out money for a few years before you realize your sick of paying money for something you DONT really want. Part it out now and be done with it. You can always buy one in the future if you feel the need.

It think I would be interested in most parts you have there plus you say you have extra goodies. I'll shoot you a PM if you want to give me a call, I would be interested in possibly taking the whole thing.

I have difficulty telling anyone to sell their Stang... ESPECIALLY a Fox. If you've no intention of ever putting it back together then I can't see hanging on to it. If you do have plans of having it back together one day, I'd say to purchase a storage container out-right then call whatever company to come out and move the loaded container to a place that you can let it sit until you're ready to deal with it.

--reminder to folks responding to this thread--

Let's not turn this thread into "Let's make a deal". Conduct business etc., through PM.

Man,

Thats a HARD call...

If you think you will even EVENTUALLY put it back together, keep it.

If you KNOW you'll never do anything with it then its best to let it go.

If you do decide to let it go, lemme know. I always have a friend or two looking for a project or parts.

Good luck with the decision!

It's something I have really have to think about. Yeah, I could part it out, sell it, or sell it as a whole, but damn, I might regret it. Maby get it back togeather one day, yes, but is it really worth storing it? IDK. I am afraid I might really kick myself if I do. Maby I'm just not quite ready to make a final decision.

I'll find my parts list and send it in a PM if I decide to sell.

Thanks.

I know its a hard decision...

everytime I think about one of my past 'stangs (and you can see I've had a few)... I get sick... especially the 95 :(

But... I always find another one to build...

It is a hard decision. But I say keep it because I know people who were in your situation and really regret selling their projects and always went back out to get another car because they miss the one they sold. But then again it's your call just giving my opinion.

Hey I know exactly what your going thru I also drive a semi but I'm local now but when your on that road you have nothing but time to think..LOL But IMHO dont sell it I've been builing my car for 5 plus years and if/when something else comes up Bills, medical, girlfriend on the side..:nice: J/K just put it on the back burner until money allows for it.
