It sure seems like this has been a long project. I have been working on the rear quarters and wheelhouses for almost 2 months now

Before I give everything another coat of rustproofing, I want to weld in a couple studs to attach the interior trim, at the back half of the lower innner wheelhouse. Normally this has a bracket that stands off the wheelhouse about 5/8" or so.

Anyway, I have moved the inner wheelhouse about 1 1/8" from the tire side of the leaf spring. Hopefully this will take care of any potential rubbing.

I still have probably a month of nights doing bodywork on the rear quarters. The guy that I paid to weld everything (body panels etc) up originally did a crappy job. There is a lot of body filler (he put on) that I have taken off.

I think at this point, I am taking his body filler off, and make certain I epoxy the bare metal where he has done any welding.

I have posted some of the pictures Here

Thanks, I am trying to be fairly stealthy with the mods that I am doing, planning.

I think the total flare is going to be only 1" +/-, much more and the 1/4 panel was going to distort too much. As it is, I have a little hammer and dolly work to do.

I just wish I would have done this all myself from the start, instead of paying someone else to install the 1/4 panels poorly, then having all these fix ups. Oh well, soon it will be history ;)
