I am going to pick up some 17x9 deep dish bullitt wheels for my '04 GT. Right now it is running the stock 17x8 wheels with a 245/45/17 tire.
What's the minimum tire width I can run on the 17x9 wheels? I am trying to keep the cost down as much as possible. I did a search but I could only find info about the max width you can run. I almost bought some 17x8 wheels so I could still use the stock 245 width tires since they only have 4k miles on them but I love the look of the bullitts and I didn't see any 17x8 deep dish versions. Also, I want to keep the same height of 45.
Or, will the stock 245/45/17's work with a 17x9 wheel anyway?

I'm going with 255's in front and keeping my fingers crossed that they will be better. nitto 315 DRs in back.
