misfire detection?

So, I just got this new car ('01, V6, manual, 75,000 miles (fwy miles), 1 owner/never raced, w/regular oil changes). My bf and I took the weekend to change the spark plugs (it had two sets of titanium that were all oddly set around .063 [correct measurement should be .052] and was replaced with autolite copper.), plug wires, brake pads, and the EGR sensor. Believe it or not, all the previously mentioned items were never changed.
The car runs a lot smoother now (except for the clutch...which is next on the list), but there seems to be a misfire. What else could I look for that would possibly fix this problem? We did a compression & olm meter test on the spark plugs and on the coil pack, but it seemed to be getting power. Checked the fuel injectors and they seem to be working. Although, when my bf took out two of the plugs, they didn't smell like fuel.
Anyone got any ideas....?

damn, no replies...that was a little disappointing. Especially on the fact that no one caught the fact that I had mentioned titanium instead of platnum on the spark plugs.
In anycase, I took my car in to get the clutch fixed (loose bearings), they ran a full diagonistic (yeah, my spelling sux) and said that there was no misfire, but that I needed to get my exaust done.
So since I need my exaust done, I was going to go with a single flowmaster. However, I've heard that they kinda sound strange on the V6s ....
I'd just like to know what everyone else has on theirs...and what do they like/dislike about it....
