This problem started a few months ago, and I know it's not my plugs, wires, cap, rotor. Basically, with rpm's under 2000, if im easy on it, it hesitates/misses, like...best way to explain it...it almost seems like its not runnin on all 8, but if i give like 1/4 throttle or more, its clean and nice, very, very strong too otherwise. I'm thinking maybe its my carbuerator???
Engine 302 out of a GT
Head are original, edelbrock carb, 600 cfm.
I dont know how to tune a carb, basically, my vaccum lines all look ok, no leaks. The only thing i do with the carb, is i close the screws, then turn to open 2 and 1/2 turns, this is how i've ran it since i bought the car. When this problem occured originally, few months ago, it basically just started out of nowhere it seemed, but I hadnt been driving it much so im not sure if it started slowly over time. But yeah, its only when im easy on it, such as. If you tried to drive it like a regular car, pulling out in first gear, it would want to stall, shakey, vibrate, just missnig like hell. But if you pull out agressive, like giving plenty of fuel, it runs perfect, only does this at low rpm(below 2000), and seems perfect otherwise, such as when im gettin on it. Any advice is appreciated much, as i am new to carbuerators.
