So finally, after purchasing my MM Heavy Duty LCA almost 4 months ago, I got them installed.

I have tried installing these LCA twice without success. The main problem was the stock LCA, the bolts were seized making it impossible to remove.

Dropped it off at the garage this morning at 9am, got it back at 7pm, driver side took 3 hours to do, passenger side, 2 hours. The mechanic told me it was a bitch to get them out but was kind enough not to charge me crazy labour. Cost was around 170$USD

So finally took the car for a drive, here are the things I noticed:

- I was expecting more road noise dude to polyurethane bushings and the spherical bearing, but there isn't any more road noise. No popping or creaking. There might be this slight, very slight vibration that you feel in your bum, but that could be our roads here(Quebec is known for awful roads)

- The car seems smoother on the road and highway

- Corners, this is where you really feel it. Take a corner hard, tires screeching but the rear stays put, no more crazy swinging action or lateral movement while turning. Also, when powersliding, there is much more control on the rear of the car, more tight it seems.

- Lauching, well, since I just got the car, I haven't been to the track yet. The only launch I did was a a small street, 1-2 shift seems to have much less tire spins. Hopefully this will translate into lower 60ft times.

Anyone else experienced the same feeling?

My current mods are:
- VT N/A Stage 1 Cams
- K&N FIPK2
- Mac Prochamber O/R
- Magnaflow Catback
- BBK 75mm Throttle Body
- Diablosport Predator
- GMS Upper Intake Plenum
- Steeda U/D Pulleys
- FRPP 3.73 Gears
- Bullitt Suspension Kit (Shocks, struts & swaybars)
- Maximum Motorsports Full Length Subframe Connectors
- Maximum Motorsports Heavy Duty Lower Control Arms
- SVT Cobra Front Brakes
- Street tires (Exclaim UHP)

Wait until you get a PHB (if you ever do). Then, the car is an entirely new animal with soooo much grip in the rear

I have th Standar LCA with perch and swaybar mounts.

You can have without spring perch if you have coilovers, and/or without swaybar mounts if you have ajustable swaybar.

good stuff man! I suppose to be getting MM LCA's put on my car right now, but the shop e-mailed me and said that one of the LCA's has a broken eyelet where it mounts to the car itself. Just a minor thing to take care of when I get back to the States

Just got done putting MM non-adjustable lowers on today. Plan on taking it out this weekend and see how it drives. I have to say it was easier than putting the X-pipe on this car.

Mine felt like the rear tires were overinflated. The only thing I noticed at the track was the rear end didn't fishtail as much during the burnout.

I love my MM LCA's!! It feels a lot better with them than it did before. But how on earth did it take the guy that long to change them?!... It took me about 45 minutes on each side with a jack and 2 jackstands in my parent's garage, with handtools. But who knows, at least you've got them on now!

I have the MM adj lcas', PHB, subframes, front coilovers, & soon to be installed torque arm & rear coliovers( I know San-Man, I said this last month, LOL). Although I do pick up alot more road noise, & it creaks more, the superb handling is worth the trade off in comfort....Cant wait to see how its gonna feel when the TA & rear c/o's go in FINALLY!!!

Yea, that's what I thought too when I tried it twice. The bolts were seized, that's why it took so long.

Quick question, I just went to the 1/4 mile tonight, and I heard this pop when I launched, is this normal?

I think its normal because my rear suspension pops & creaks all the time. Its probably the spherical bearing or sumthin....
