I got a MM Panhard bar for Christmas and am going to install it next week. Does anyone have any experience and have input on things to watch out for?

I have MM lower control arms with the Ford Motorsport uppers.

Thanks!

I would like to know also because I want to go with the same setup. What springs do you have?

you wont regret it. I want either a panhard bar, or even more - a watts link but that costs right about 700 for one of those

The biggest thing to plan for is exhaust interference. Any competent exhaust shop can fix it for you, but it's likely that any aftermarket cat-back will have clearance issues with the panhard bar.

I installed my MM panhard about 2 years ago, and it has saved my car from fishtailing onto the sidewalk and into walls, twice. Only problem is the mount bracket for the bar on the driver's side beats on the tailpipe everytime the car hits a bump. The tailpipe has a good half inch deep dent from these past 2 years of driving.

The hardest part is drilling through the frame, make sure you have some good new drill bits.

personally, i'd go with the MM Torque Arm. http://www.maximummotorsports.com/ta.asp

also, i had my Panhard Bar welded in. i don't care to drill holes into the chassis and have the holes elongate over time.

be sure to triple check the locations before you start to drill.

I'm more likely to go with the TA, true, but I can dream, can't I?
