MM recommends 325-350# c/o springs, what for rear?

What rear H&R springs would match 325# in the front? I want to stiffen the ride a lot from where it is now, but it still needs to be streetable since I drive it to work a lot, I do have another daily driver though. I will be doing a lot of things next weekend, MM front A-arms, SN-95 spindles, Bilstein HD's, upper FRPP arms and lower MM adjustables, and the front and rear cobra brakes. I want to be set up as best as I can for road races since I have a place close and like it a little more than the 1/4, though I still will go to the local strip a bit too.

While we are on the topic do you think 325# front coilovers and Bilstein HD's will be the best for me? Seems like it may be a bit loose to me but I definitely could be wrong. Thanks for any recommendations

Not sure about the spring rates, just make sure they know your setup, because they may be giving the numbers for a torque arm setup which is different than without and they suggest to everyone.
Also if you are going to road race, make sure to at least use a panhard bar.

yeah I forgot to mention it but I have a panhard on the way as well. And they know m setup since they recommended it all (they told me to stay away fom rear coilovers on a car that does any street duty). I will probably eventually go with heir torque arm setup but it isnt in the budget this year

I have a very similar combo. MM recommended the H&R Race spring for the rear of my street GT with thier 325# front coilovers on Bilsteins. The ride is excellent and it handles great too.

What was their reasoning for not using rear coilovers on the street? It just seems weird since they recommended them to a freind that only drives on the street.

Well they told me that the rear c/o setup experiences a lot of bottoming out when going up driveways or on bumps/etc. Sounded odd to me but hey they are the experts, if they recommended against it I just assumed they are correct. Not too often a company will tlk you into spending less money with them...

I agree, MM has the best customer service of any company I have dealt with. But, I sometimes feel that you get conflicting recommendations depending on who you talk to at MM. This is by no means bashing them, just saying it might pay to consult them a few times before making a purchase. They are always more than willing to discuss your setup. That's great customer service!
