MMR Coilovers - good?

  • Sponsors (?)

I have the 175's for drag racing. I'm switching my suspension setup from road racing to street/strip. So right now my suspension really isn't optimized, but I put the coil overs on anyway since I was sick of looking at them in my garage.

175 isn't too bad for the street, the 300 handles really nice, my friend has a set on his street/autocross car. The 175's will pop up nice at the strip

i just ordered the mmr bilstein coilover kit, shouls be here tuesday, will see how good they are for 149.00 w/300# springs.
biltstein coilover kit ... is that new? i don't remember seeing one when i ordered mine, but it is just as well because biltsteins are too rich for my blood anyway.

$149 is a good deal, i got mine (also mmr's -- the road race/street handling kit -- for $160 shipped)

It is pretty new for the bilsteins, it's $10.00 more, how do you like the the road race/street handling kit? did you get the 300# springs? how's the quality? and last how does it ride now? smoother more comfortable? or harsher?

i have not had time to install them yet, we have been up to our ears selling 2 houses (my inlaws and mine) and buying one (for all of us to live in). i'm no sure what #age the springs are, just that it is the road race/street handling package.
