Need a review and advice. Xmas time coming...my wife asks me for a list of stuff I want for the Stang...although I'm sure she won't spend too much money, I'm going to list everything, maybe I'll get lucky, and maybe she'll see how obsessed I am. So, based on the research I've done so far, here's some selections for certain upgrades, and some questions about parts.

1) Cat-back = Steeda
2) X-pipe = Bassani, no-cats (doing away with e-checks in KY soon!)
3) CAI = Demolet tunable inductions set-up, full length, fender intake
4) Plenum = Accufab - few articles seem to show best gains (although not by much...but might as well go all out)
5) Throttlebody = Accufab, 75mm
6) Shifter - MGW
7) SCT Xcal 2 - although I'll probably wait until I have some mods in place

8) Steeda lowering springs, Tokico shocks/struts (adjustable) - although I've been eyeing the MM road/track package. Are the Tokico's better than the Bilsteins that come with the MM package? I'm guessing overall the MM package is going to be better because it replaces so many pieces, but if I could do the Steeda springs and Tokico shocks now, and slowly replace other parts, no way I can afford the MM package anytime soon.

9) New rims, working on some photochops now, but looking at either DeepDish Bullitts....or 03 Cobra Rims, probably all chrome since I have a bright yellow car. Problem is....rims look best with some lowering, and lowering looks best with some rims, so hate to do one now if I can't afford the other for awhile!

10) Gears - 3.73 or 4.10. I have a 5sp, but do a lot of freeway driving (70-80mph average). This will probably wait too since I have still warranty for a year...and most other mods I can do myself, thus removing if I need to take the car in to make it look stock...gears would be a beotch!

11) Stage II cams, upgraded springs

12) KB baby!

Sooooooo....any advice or suggestions on any of these mods? They're not in any particular order. Answers to questions about the suspensions?

Is SLP actually more expensive than Steeda and Bassani? I like the deep bassy tone of the Steeda cat-back...and have tried to find a good match for the x-pipe...I've heard the Bassani and it sounds good, but havne't heard much else. Trust me...the KB is more of a dream, but hopefully I can make the rest happen sometime down the road.

I don't think it's more expensive... might be around the same price, maybe even a little less than the Bassani, but the sound is unmatched!

Yeah, I've heard the clips of SLP...never in person. Not too loud for me...but too gurgley. Like that tamer deeper steeda sound. Plus I live in a subdivision and leave for work at 6:30am...so I'm tryin not to get lynched too!

Ok... Then you'd like the Borla's or FLowmaster's with O/R X-pipe's. But I see what you're saying about leaving for work so early
