ok, i got started on my vortech mongoose kit and im stuck in a few places, i could use some help ....

1. The bypass valve hose that attaches to the nipple..where does it connect to? what do i do with the T connection.

2. Took me like 2 hours to get the belt on. it is SOO tight that there is NO slack on the tensioner at all. one of the ribs is not on the supercharger pulley neither and i cant get it on because there is no more slack and its really really tight. should i but a belt thats and inch longer?

3. I forgot what color wires goes on which side of the IAT sensor and i dont have the diagram anymore. which the clip up, which one goes where.

4. Spark plugs. what do these NGK's need to be gapped at (came with kit)

5. How in the world do you get the rubber sleeve over the Lightning MAF?

if anyone has a overview pic of a finished project for '03 - '04 that would help me out a bit

Try posting this in the Power Adders section. You may have better luck there.

I will see If I can help with a few answers.

1. That hose should connect to one of the RED lines that are after the throttle body. I spliced into a red line that ran to the sensor on the passenger side fuel rail.

2. Belts are a pain to install. The supplied belt should work. What pulley are you trying to slide it over last? I found it easiest to get the belt on all of the pullies except the power steering pump or the water pump(just pick a large pulley). Then have a buddy hold the tensioner(sp?) back while you slide the belt over the last pulley. But it will take some muscle.

3. I have no idea. My 2000 did not require any splicing.

4. .030 - .035

5. I am using the 80mm Lmaf so I did not have any issues. But you might try boiling the sleeve in hot water to help it stretch.

Why dont you just call Tim and ask for some help? Or try going to the MPH boards and asking there.
