monte carlo bar help

Ok, I have the car up on the crossmember, as its been suggested, for a few days now but there has been no settling of the fenders. The bar is no closer to fitting than before. I was wondering if there was something i missed, is there anything that should be loosened for example.

I jack mine form the core support and the shock towers will spread.Are the export braces on still???

Yeah take the shock tower braces off if they are still on, that's what I did.

Yeah, my export braces are still on.

Take em off and you'll see a difference. Should drop and the bar will fit.
