I came across a deal on 1999 Cobra brakes for my 98 GT. The guy is selling me everything....he is basically disconnecting them where the rubber line screws in at the rigid line, and selling me everything. My question is, since he is selling to me this way , is the re-assembly as simple as installing the rotors and calipers, and re-connecting the flexible lines to the rigid lines and bleeding them?
Also, on the rear brakes, I think the rear Cobra rotors are a larger diameter than the GT's (please correct if wrong). Can I use my stock GT calipers with the Cobra rotors, if I purchase the caliper stand-off brackets that some companies make for use with larger rotors? Thanks for any help.
