I'm driving a 1994 Mustang GT Convertible with 163,000 miles and still running strong. I'm sure that's far from the most on this particular year but I'm curious as to what the current record may be. Thanks in advance for all replies.

well the guy that I bought my car from, bought it with 208,000 miles on the odometer. And the odometer had quit working. He owned it for three of four years driving the piss out of it. Now I am the third owner and I have owned it for a year now and have driven it maybe five miles! She is going to be new again when im done with her!

It's not an SN-95, but there was a news special of a lady who had an 89 GT Mustang with over 600,000 miles on it. Not sure the exact mileage, but Ford bought her Nascar tickets because of the story. Since it's essentially the exact same engine as in our cars with the exception of having forged pistons, I think it qualifies as an answer to your question.

My '95 has 98k on the chassis. The 331 has only 3k. Sits in the garage most of the time now-a-days. 2800 miles in last 3yrs.

Now that's cool. Most people give up on these cars when something "major" happens. Having owned both VIIs and VIIIs I can say they are really reliable, just give them the love they need when they need it.
