I met a guy last night that has a mach. He told me the heads are ported to the max along with the intake, has stage 4 crowers, built bottom end, and all the bolt on you can get. He also has a huge shot of nitrous on it (2 stages/ 250 each ). He told me it put down 576 hp on just engine. I have never heard of a 4v doing this without a power adder of some kind. Anyone else heard of numbers this high? I dont htink he would lie. I just dont keep up with the 4v to much.......

576 is stretching it for a fully built LS1, i doubt he's making that at the crank. Maybe 390rwhp or so.
He literally saying that from a H/C/I swap he went from proly 288, and added another 288 to the ground

At least it's more erect and not floppy anymore.

i could see him doing that if he swapped some other bigger motor in there but not a 4.6. i would say upper 300s would be right for a fully build all motor 4v.

He is the owner of a local speed shop. I have seen pics of it with the front wheels well off the ground so i know it has some power but like you guess have said it is more than i thought was possible short of using nitro for fuel.

The engine is fully built. I dont know what the CR is or how many cubes it is. I think it would be possible but extremely expensive. I will see if anyone local can confirm. If so i will let ya'll know.

I agree, there are some 450+ rwhp na 4V's, Nazman comes to mind. However 576 NA, not seeing it. N2O yes.

That is a fully built race motor. 5.4 DOHC with a carbed intake, Worked Ford GT heads, belt driven distributor, etc. Definately not your average bolt on or big bore motor.

If that's the case I'd say my car has around 380 hp.

LOL!

I know the car in question. Not making that kind of power all motor.

My last combo (128+MPH All Motor) was making a tad over 500RW all motor. With 322CI, 03-Up Cobra heads, fairly large cams, Sulllivan intake, mild CR @ ~10.8:1...etc.

My current combo will out power that by far (see sig).....stay put!

It's possible, but not all that likely.
