I just acquired a bucking problem when my foot is just slightly on the gas, I think it may be my TPS, (maybe a dead spot???) but I wanted to see what you guys think of it. If its in neutral, and I hold it at 1400 rpm, it will run smooth for a lil bit, then it starts running really rough and jumps from 1000 back up to 1400. Could it be anything else? I'm replacing my TFI module this weekend since I think the one on it now is original. My car is definitly not running right, I barely walked from my friend with his stock motor, an I got motorsport H/C/I. My air fuel gauge is barely on stoich under wide open throttle. Any help would be highly appreciated. Oh also, the check engine light comes on when the car bucks.
Thanks,
Jesse

i ran into the same problem with my car. except my problem was the same as yours with the exception it was worse when it was cold/rainy. but, i made sure the fuel pressure stays the same through all conditions, which it did. do i unhooked the EGR valve vacuum and stuck a bolt in the line. I've ran it like that for about a week and haven't had the problem since. Try it, see what happens... its free! :nice:
