Motive 4.10's $124.99 Free Ship!

Everyone says stay with ford but there is absolutely nothing wrong with Richmond or Motive gears both companies have been around for a long time and they make quality parts. Go for it that is cheap as hell.

Its not the regular Motive, its the Performance Plus gear, its a much stronger alloy. I'd probably say its as strong or stonger than the FRPP gear. It weighs 2 lbs more than the FRPP gears (stronger, if I had to guess).

Also, Motive gears don't have the whine of a Richmond gear. With proper installation they will be quiet, just like FRPP. The ONLY reason they are less expensive is because 1) My rep at Motive Gear gave me a bottomline price and I shared the savings and 2) Ford Motorsports Division makes more profit. Production cost, I would bet that Ford Motorsports gears are actually the "cheaper".

Both have pretty retail boxes and an identical basic shim kit.

I ordered 3.55s, 3.73s, and 4.30s from Motive this week, since the 4.10s I put up have been selling well. Oh, and I bought 4.10s for the V6 guys, is that the popular gearset for those? Whats the stock gear in a 99+ V6?

NX went up in price because I was considering gettinga nitrous kit from u but the price went up like $100

What about the 3:90s? FRPP doesn't offer this for the 8.8 and is the gear I'm seriously considering. I spoke to the installer and he likes Motive as well as FRPP, which is the only gear brand he carries and (usually) installs.

"You will not have any better or worse luck with FRPP gears.".... This guy is right on the money. I wasn't putting FRPP gears down or anything, besides saying that the difference in price possibly isn't worthwhile.

Whichever way anyone goes on this is fine. Both are probably identical in quality.
