Got the new motor mount rebuild kit. Directions are a little lite. Anybody do these? Thinking the countersunk hole goes on bottom.

I just did mine not too long ago, once mount is in hand it becomes self explanatory.
Do one side at a time as to not mix the pieces up. Cut pins and burn old rubber off. Stinky!
I used a urethane caulking/ adhesive to assembly them.
And that "Little Jewel" of ride quality will be gone as the new set up is more solid. I kind of like it that way though.
Order that trans mount now because it is probably toasted too.
Once all the new mounts were in the exhaust didn't line up as nice ( welded in after mounts sagged on mine I think)
Cool what a great place to start.

Thanks , that better clarify’s it. I ordered trans mount but only thing i could find was the rubber stock style. Exhaust on mine stock manifold and ball and donut gasket that i took off to clean and regasket and easier to do motor mount. Figured car would have a little more vibration. Hopeful a couple weeks get her on road.

Don't remember having to drill them. The old rubber had to be removed. Then tapped bolts in with hammer.
And it seemed softer than urethane

You probably seen this post but ...
I cut the limiter pins, Son burned the vulcanized rubber loose, and wire brushed em.
We urethane construction caulking/glued the rebuild kit in, and we have good v/8 mounts.
