I just did mine not too long ago, once mount is in hand it becomes self explanatory.
Do one side at a time as to not mix the pieces up. Cut pins and burn old rubber off. Stinky!
I used a urethane caulking/ adhesive to assembly them.
And that "Little Jewel" of ride quality will be gone as the new set up is more solid. I kind of like it that way though.
Order that trans mount now because it is probably toasted too.
Once all the new mounts were in the exhaust didn't line up as nice ( welded in after mounts sagged on mine I think)
Cool what a great place to start.
Thanks , that better clarify’s it. I ordered trans mount but only thing i could find was the rubber stock style. Exhaust on mine stock manifold and ball and donut gasket that i took off to clean and regasket and easier to do motor mount. Figured car would have a little more vibration. Hopeful a couple weeks get her on road.
so i have motor mounts kit in hand and bolt hole is way smaller than bolt, do you have to drill urethane mount bolt hole to size of bolt ? can't see forcing it thru would be ok.
I cut the limiter pins, Son burned the vulcanized rubber loose, and wire brushed em.
We urethane construction caulking/glued the rebuild kit in, and we have good v/8 mounts.
