Im looking to drop a 351w bored .40 over that i am looking to put in my car and im just wondering wat all id have to do ecu wise if i was to do fuel injestion with it or what i need to do electrical all together if i were to just leave it carbed and drop it in. full motor is built just trying to drcide if it would be worth doing efi just depending on the whole ecu deal. can i prigram the stock ecu to run for a 351 or will i have to buy a stand alone or some other computer to use for it? or should i just say forget the efi and go with a carb? thanks for looking and hopefully some of you can give me some good advice thank you

A custom chip or tuner would be all you would need for the computer side of things. There are several other needed items to do a 351w swap as well but since you didn't mention them I assume you already know what those are.

MAF is only tied to injector size so make sure it matches whatever injector size that you decide to go with. For a chip I would say talk to Don at SCT X3 LiveWire Dyno Performance Chips LaSota Racing Ford Tuning Index and he can probably fix you up on the chip. The other items I was talking about was a cowl hood to clear the intake, and a 351w specific lower intake, items such as that.

Yeah I have a 5in cowl and the lower intake just trying to decide on what upper intake to buy right now. I have 30lb injectors and matching maf. Is my t-5 gonna be possible to use? I know they match up and everything but will it be able to hold the 351 power wise? And thanks for all the input
