I have a stock 03 Gt and was wondering if the ford motorsport 70 mm throttle body makes any performance improvement. Some people tell me it will, others say it is the last thing you should change on a 4.6. Thanks for any replies.
On a stock or near stock car it will do nothing, maybe 1-2 hp if you are lucky. I installed my FRPP 70mm T/B a few days before my C&L plenum came in the mail and noticed nothing. However, once I teamed it up with the plenum, I felt a significant difference in top end performance. IMO, the T/B is a poor stand alone mod. I'm only speaking from my own experience, maybe some others have had a different experience.
Hey I will sell you my FRPP 70mm TB because I am getting the accufab tb and plenum setup... I'll sell it to you shipped for $100 it's has about 500 miles on it! Thats $75 less than new and you can spend that towards the C&L Plenum.... GOOD DEAL!
