moving to vancouver

my parents just got a house off of 93rd and st jhons hows the area up there? im a little bet nervous about moving lived in the same house for 20years and just want to know what kind of area to expect when i get there.

Have you never been to Vancouver? It is mainly like most other suburbs of Portland, only in my opinion I like it more than those offered in Oregon.... Not a whole lot of difference though!

It's only right across the river! You've lived in Portland for 20 years and never been on this side?

Not too far from me really. I live just a little past St Johns on Minnehaha. It's not too bad...just like everywhere else in about a 20mile radius of Portland from what I've seen in the year I've been here.

The st johns area in vancouver is one of the nicer parts of vancouver in my opinion. I wouldn't mind living there at all, but I'm kind of already set up in Gresham.

i drive past there every morning on my way to work. (sort of) seems ok.
