has anyone used that new "dryless" mr. clean car wash system. i was wondering if it was any good at washing cars, and actually worked as far as no need to dry. thanks.

I saw it in action when I went up to the Toronto Auto show, I don't know if I would presonally trust it with my car, but for an everyday person I think it would work out fine. I am just stupid anal-retentive about my acr being clean.

I imagine you still have to "wash" the car first as I can't see how ot will remove dirt and road grime.

You do wash it, you just don't need to dry it.
I'm still waiting for the weather to get nice so I can try it.

I have a friend that tried it on his truck and he said it worked out great.

I have yet to try it but will have to see. I did mobile detailing for 2 years and I'm about get start back up soon doing it again. If it works and is affordable, then I might start using it on customer vehicles.

Product does what it says.. However I do not plan to use the soap anymore for it.. I'll use the filtered water to rinse the car though.. The rinse polymer seems to leave a tackiness to the car. It claims it does not strip wax, but I'm not so sure..

bought it and used it but not sure if i like it...i have a black car and it washes great...thesoap sprays some nice suds, i wash with a mitt also, but the drying thing has me miffed...it rinses nice but 1st time i did it in the sun and it streaked BAD....but it says not to do that so i washed it a few days later in the shade and pulled it in the garage to dry and it still left light streaks...and in the right light it looked BAD...i had to wire the whole car down again. Maybe for an everyday wash its ok but i try to keep mine lookin detailed all the time...and maybe not on black either...

My buddy actually works on the team at P&G that came out with this product. The one thing that he told me was to follow the instructions exactly when rinsing to ensure you don't get streaks. Rinse from top to bottom. This is the only way it will work perfectly every time. He also said that you should wash your car before hand with your favorite mit/sponge. I just bought mine but have not had a chance to use it yet. Every one I've talked to says it works great as long as you follow the directions.

I got one and it does work great if you follow the directions. We even tried it on a black Corvette and it came out spotless. I did discover one thing though that the first wash after waxing the car will not let the water sheet off which is necessary for the spot free drying. It tends to bead up on the car but other than that it works as advertised.

Black is the biggest pain in the butt. I figure that regular washing and hand drying is about the only way to get it looking GOOD good.

I use it once a week and I love the thing. My car is black and it doesn't streak a bit. The only time I get spots is when water blows out of the hood scoop. (I hate that thing, it must hold 5 gallons of water!) It helps if you car is well waxed, the beading makes the water just roll off.

I should mention that I don't like the soap. I like my zip wax in a bucket.
