Okay...im not so smart with this stuff...If i have a 2005 v6 which has a single exhaust and i want to make it dual...would this be all that i need in order to do that...basically...if i brought this to someone who could professionally install it onto my car...would they be able to do it...please keep in mind i currently have one exhaust pipe but will be changing it to two. http://www.mrt-direct.com/2005/Pages/mrtaxleback.php

As much as I've love my MRT axle back, i'm not sure I can recommend it in a dual configuration... A couple of guy have tried doing the dual MRT's and have not been happy with the results... however I love my single MRT...

You go get the duals but you will need to have some fab work done or get some GT take off parts...

do you know what there problem with it was? becasue i love the sound of your single, as i have said before...unfortunately...with the performance upgrades i will be doing to the engine i will need dual...unless you think a single could handle a high end supercharger...im so confused lol

The couple of guys that had the MRT duals complained about it being too loud and to much drone...

Well... you could always to a custom 3 inch single!

Right now i'm running 10 PSI and I'm still a single.. most likely bottle neck is the cats.. so even if you go to duals you'll want to look at high flow cats...

im not too worried about it being too loud...i just want to make sure that i wont have to switch it again if/when i get the supercharger put in...also...do you know if the exhaust is installed by a professional place if it voids warranty?...if it does, is there anyway to have it installed where it doesnt void warranty?

Well, MRT has a twin turbo V6 with a single MRT axle back that putting down 350RWHP on only 7.5 pounds of boost! So I think you'll be fine with the MRT's... LOL!

Ok... nothing voids your entire warranty... If you have a problem the dealership needs to show that your afermarket parts caused the problem... so if you put a MRT axle back on and your power steering pump goes out they can't say, "sorry your warranty is void"

Well... there is one thing that voids your entire warranty:

It was last years SEMA car... I really don't think they would ever market it... My guess is it would be a very expensive setup... probably cost prohibitive... Considering a single intercooled turbo is in the $5,000 range... throw another turbo in there... and you are talking big bucks! LOL!

You can check out more about MRT's twin turbo, The Cherry 6T6, at MRT's website www.mrt-direct.com (or http://www.mrt-direct.com/Articles/MRT_6T6a.PDF )

Yes, excessive abuse... ie. drag racing, in theory voids your entire warranty... LOL!

Cool.. looking forward to hearing how you like that setup! Maybe if you like it it will be enough to convince me to go to duals! LOL!!

On the 4000 rev limit... actually it's a good thing... you really don't want to rev our motors more than that... but if you feel you really need to you can buy an SCT X-Cal2 and raise the limit...

Not sure how long it takes... Depending on where you are at $65 an hour sound very reasonable... norm around here is probably around $75 while some of the shops in the Detroit area are around $100...

I got a quote from a local shop for 2 hours to install a true dual exhaust with H-pipe at $90/hour.

Hope that helps.
