Look at the Moroso Pro Coil HO.
Direct bolt in and makes no noise like some MSD coil owners have complained about.

Moroso claims their coil outperforms the rest, especially as the rpm`s go up.
I have one in my 89.

Here is Moroso Coils Description:http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=MOR%2D72360&N=700+400105+4294925143+4294890813+4294908331+4294908282+4294924755+115&autoview=sku

And here is the MSD Blaster's Description:

http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=MSD%2D8227&N=700+4294908331+4294924755+4294908282+115&autoview=sku

The MSD has 48k Volts and the Moroso has 40k volts. Wouldn't the MSD be better? Or is the Spark Duration what matters?

I have been having cold hesitation and a little bit of pinging at high rpms and was wondering if he blaster had anything to do with it.
