MT ET streets...to big????

I just recieved my M/T et streets, and I told the salesman that I wanted a 26x10-15. The dumbass sent me a set of 26x11.5-15, and now I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to fit them on my car. I have weld prostars, and the rears are 15x10 w6.5 backspacing, so do you guys think the tires will work out for me????????

I wouldn't run any smaller than a 10" tire on those rims, which is what you ended up with. The 26x11.5 is actually more like an 10" tire. The 26x10.5 is more like 8" wide. Too small for that rim. A 26x10 ET Drag would also work well.

The ET Street measures the tire by section width not tread width. My 28x12.50 is only 10.5 inches wide at the tread. They are mounted to a set of 15x10 CL's with a 6.5" BS. That's a big tire compared to the 11.5 your running. You should have LOTS of room.

Actually the size is pretty close.

The 28x12.50 measures out at 1.8" taller than the 26x11.50 -- less than an inch taller radius, treadwidth is 10.0" compared to 9.8" -- .2" wider, and the sidewall width 12.6" compared to 12" -- .3" wider on each side. Not really very much different at all.

But yes, they should fit well.
