Keep the mufflers and get a high flow h or x w/ cats. It will quiet it down significantly. I understand your situation. It is easy for someone on here to say "F *** that guy." However, you are the one that must live next to this guy and you have to ask is it worth it to battle with this guy after being in your new house after only two months? You can put on some high flow cats, quiet down your car, say to this guy " I spent $400 on my car because I want to show the people of this neighborhood that I respect their peace and quiet." You have done your good deed and shown you are attempting to cease any problems with your neighbors. If there is still a problem after that then you say F*** you, take off the cats, put on the off-road H, buy a line-lock button, and start smoking in front of this guys house. Good luck. There are no winners among the battle of neighbors.

LOL,,very good Yup,put a catted x-pipe on,but at the same time put some electric exhaust cut-outs on!This way instead of waited to take your car back to the shop to change pipes(this is if he still has a problem) you can just hit the button and woolaa!! Open headers While doing a burnout in front of his house you might be able to take out a few windows if the decibals get high enough

Magnaflows sound really nice. Not too loud unless at WOT. If you want quiet, stay away from the magnapacks. Just get the regular magnaflows.

I use to have the 2ch Flows and went with the Magnaflows. They have a much smoother, more unique sound and actually provide more power than the Flowmasters (Strait through design) in the upper RPMs. If you really need to calm down your stang though you should probably go with some high-flow cats You'll lose some power but with your setup that may be your only option to keep it reasonable

drill 2 holes, one on the right pipe and one on the left one. Screw in a spark plug to each one. Run the wires to a coill. Then pull up to your nice, friendly neighbor that is costing you 400.00 in new exhust and do a brake stand!!! Of corse this is with your new and much improved queit mufflers. I hate neighbors like thar. Living near people is not like living in a back 40.

i'm of the belief that shooting flames near a gas tank might be a bad idea...just me. I'd also guess that the o/r h pipe is enhancing the sound quite a bit.

I dunno where you live but 830 at night is early where i come from. Youve only lived ther 2 months has he had any other complaints? He is probabbly just looking to start **** i hate people like that. F u c K him its your car do what you want. Like stated above he is always gonna complain. Every neighbor does. I would just keep my car how it is and be proud of your accomplishment of making a bad ass car and pissing your neighbor off all at once.

i used to have a 3chamber flowmaster catback, and decided to change to the hooker aerochamber mufflers, i have been very happy, i think the hookers are actually quieter than the 3chambers at idle, but when i stop it its more than loud enough to let people know its not stock exhaust, it also doesnt drone very bad just my 2cents

Hmm...well i'm of the opinion that if the muffler companies are allow to sell them in the USA they must meet certain sound restriction requirements. So if you like your current set up keep it. And tell your neighbor that they meet noise pollution control requirements and not to come into your yard anymore.

i've heard mustangs with hooker aerochamber mufflers and sounds very very nice i loveit more than flows because they sound like flow's but less noise and 70% less resonanse when i heard them i decide to sell my flow and get a pair of those! and for the header and the X or H get LT's headers short ones are a waste of money and with the X sounds more quiet and better!
