mufflers and air filter on an 06 gt

I am looking at a pair of Borla touring mufflers and a K and N filter for my stock air box. I wanted to know if anyone has any experiance with this combo on an 06 mustang gt w/auto trans. Thanks for your input

Sounds like a good combination to me. Ive got the K&N drop in filter
with the Bassani Axle back. Good thing about the K&N is it gives
you a reusable filter, a little better airflow, and requires no tune,
where as most CAI's do require a tune.

I think I have a used K&N drop in from my 08GT. I say used but it has maybe 10 miles on it. I have a Roush blower on the car and didn't want to void the warranty with a CAI...... for about a week. I changed pulleys and put a Roush CAI on it as well. The car is never driven so the filter as I said has 10 m iles on it and I am betting not even that. If you want it cheap let me know.

Fwiw, the CAI makes a HUGE improvement on our cars. But a proper cold air intake (not just a drop in air filter) requires a tune. I'm assuming you don't have a tuner?

I just installed a CAI & tuner on my '06 and it made a very noticeable improvement in power.
