depends on what you like. loud or louder. older folks on here will tell you dumps are terrible and they are obnoxious and complain of fumes in the cab. When I had them I never noticed that. I like the sound of tail though. plus they look better on an lx
Alternate view here. I based my decision to go with full exhaust on my interaction the local police... Seems I always find myself either right next to one or with one right behind me... go figure? 
Anyway, I may be a little traumatized from all those noise tickets from down in VA Beach, VA but I don't go for louder anymore, just give me the deep sound of power.
My advice is to go with MAC 2.5" or the 3" catback set. Plus I think it both flows and sounds better than FlowMaster and other brands. Additionally, if you want a really deep powerful sounding rumble use header wrap on your H-pipe and on down the rest of the exhaust. I just did it and OMG does it sound NASTY!

i run tailpaipes, but i have an LX, and agree with above they must be used on an LX, it's part of the reason they are so nice looking, imho.
i run a jumbled exhuast system myself.
i installed a magnaflow catback on the stock h pipe, then added an O/R H to it, and it sounded sooooooooooooooooooo bad, i swapped the mufflers only out for a pair of ultraflo welded race magnums....OMG does it sound sweet.
might try that header wrap tho, although it seems like a real PITA to do (I have an AOD).

The header wrap is a pain, but worth it. BTW it will smoke and stink for a few days, just a heads up. Well worth it though. The basic thing is that it keeps the exhaust from cooling and expanding, by keeping it hot is stays compressed and gives you the sound as if you had about an extra 100hp or so. Music to my ears...

Cooler pipes sound alot more aggressive, like my custom side exit setup on my 5.2L sport ram, hand made offroad Ypipe, fake cat, O2 sim, flowmaster 40. Its very mean when started cold, but it mellows down a little bit when it gets up to temp.
