could someone tell me the differnces in the 351's....from years to years?...is a older stang with a 351 the same as a newer stang with a 351...example... 99+saleen s351 and a 96 s351.....or how much power differnce between them and say a fox body 351 ?

this may sound dumb but im a little curious!

I would say the newer ones have more power...thats how it usually goes.

A 351 never came in a fox body factory...so i would imagine it would be making the most power if it had the aftermarket pieces on it like it should

I had a 351w that I put in my '79, but it was all aftermarket.... FAST!
