Looking for a part number for ac pressure switch. 92 Mustang LX 5.0. I replaced all ac lines and receiver drier with new ones by 4 seasons and added pag oil to convert to 134. My old pressure switch was bad so I couldnt reset it for the different pressure. My problem is that every new switch I can find is either bigger or smaller and wont thread into the receiver drier. Has anybody had this problem and does anybody know a part number for the correct switch? Thanks in advance!

Take a look at the following link:

1979-93 Mustang A/C Accumulators

Unless you have some non-standard things going on (I do not know what you A/C replacement kit requires) then that should be the switch that you need.

You'll get more replies posting this to the parent forum, this is 94-95 tech so we're not too well-versed with Fox-specific stuff around here.

@Ricardothegreat

The OEM A/C pressure switch that is located on top of the accumulator has a 1/4" female flare thread that seals with an O ring. If memory serves me correctly, that is a 1/2"x20 thread.
