Im looking to purchase a drivers side front fender for a 1990 mustang GT. Anyone have any advise on where the best place to get one OEM or aftermarket (if fitment is decent) Also are 87-93 fenders all the same?

I just found 2 oem 91 fenders for 125.00 for the pair if I get both of them I should be in business thanks for your help. WHat is spat you were talking about?

A body shop of mine, just called to tell me they found a fender for a 91 LX at a dealership out of state and their cost was 292 dollars, plus 125 shipping and it came in damaged!! They also found another in Ohio and they wanted 450 for it!!!!!!!! MAN!!!!

I just spoke with a body shop and they want around 500.00 for 1 OEM fender

OMG....500 would be good for a 93 Cobra owner with dirt low miles, but guys like us with say average cars aren't gonna pay that. I had minimal surface rust on my 81 notch fenders...just on the lips. I ground that crap off with a grinder, then striped the entire fender. I POR15ed the whole inside of it, then primed it and painted it. I primed, sealed and painted the outside obviously as well. Still looking good!!!!

When my car was at the shop, the owner said he could not find any OEM parts. Finding a mustang in local junk yards with good body parts is very rare. I had to order parts from 50resto.

The shop owner said the fender was perfect. He also said the bumper needed alot of work to straighten up.

Edit: He also said the Cervini's hood was the best fitting fiberglass hood that he has installed.
