Im looking to purchase a drivers side front fender for a 1990 mustang GT. Anyone have any advise on where the best place to get one OEM or aftermarket (if fitment is decent) Also are 87-93 fenders all the same?

Sorry, but I can't say anything for quality and fit, never had to buy body parts myself.

The 91-93 fenders are bigger than the earlier ones, better for lowered cars on 17" wheels.

I havent bought any; but I never heard of any fitment issues with the OEM fenders.

So if I get 91-93 the openings are larger and I will need to also get the inner wells for them ?

If I get 91 fenders the cervinis front mouldings would have to be replaced so that may kill that option

OMG....500 would be good for a 93 Cobra owner with dirt low miles, but guys like us with say average cars aren't gonna pay that. I had minimal surface rust on my 81 notch fenders...just on the lips. I ground that crap off with a grinder, then striped the entire fender. I POR15ed the whole inside of it, then primed it and painted it. I primed, sealed and painted the outside obviously as well. Still looking good!!!!

When my car was at the shop, the owner said he could not find any OEM parts. Finding a mustang in local junk yards with good body parts is very rare. I had to order parts from 50resto.

The shop owner said the fender was perfect. He also said the bumper needed alot of work to straighten up.

Edit: He also said the Cervini's hood was the best fitting fiberglass hood that he has installed.
