Mustang Drag day 10 is slated for sept 19th at palmdale. LACR. SAl the promoter for this even has said this may be the last one. there has been a drop in people going. This an all mustang race... Different classes. If you live in so cal and have a mustang come race it. LACR has been repaved. It is a fun day to be had by all. i know a few other guys on here have been going to the mustang drag days races and have had fun. her eis hte link to go read about ithttp://www.salsspeedshop.com/message/viewtopic.php?t=186 If you search around on the site you find the rules from MMD9 which I belive will mostly be true for MDD10 adn SAl will post the exact rules and classes closer to the date. I am callin geveryone out with a mustang, bring it and race it. I will finally be making with my own car. my car was plauged with problems for the last 2 races but you have a few months to get yoru cars ready.... If you have a dyno queen or a show queen bring it out anyway and make some passes with it. There have been mentions in car craft about this race. And some racers have been mentioned as well as some pics I belive of their cars. It is time for everyone in so cali to get your cars ready for sept and bring them out and race them. No more typing on a keyboard and being a desk jockey... no more numbers on paper. The time is here to lay it to the assfault... There are bracket and heads up classes. Bring it on.....Meet some fellow racers. there will be a time only for those that want to run their car and practice with it and to also watch some great racing. set the keyboards down and bring your sticky tires.

Sep. 19th.

Far enough for me to start planning. We just bought our Cobra and went to the last one to see how it works. Turn out was pretty low compared to photos of past events. I will make plans and spread the word.

thanx guys, we need a higher attendance at this one or Sal, the promotor isnt; going to do any more. The attendance at teh last one was down. There were some money races at irwindale the same day. SO hopefully that was the reason why. I have been forced to watch for the last few races as my car was down, but I have it back up and running now and ready to go. See ya there.

That place sucks the altitude, heat and the sand blowing across the track. The only reason its still there is no one wants to buy that dust bowl to build condos, I'll pass. Fontana and before that Pomona and before that Terminal Island are much better than that place. Oh and at least Carlsbad is near sea level although that place is also a dump but at least your car runs fast.
