Ah common, Wart gets to have all the fun. I haven't gotten my chance to get a piece of hotrodnut. Somehow I remember his quote about 70's cars having park bench size bumpers... who does he think he's kidding? Every generation of Mustang since the 70's uses huge urethane bumpers to absorb most of the front and rear styling cues. In fact, every car I can think of has these same park bench size bumpers. Skinny chromed steel bumpers are long gone.

As for muscle cars and how the manufacturers have suddenly come around to producing them again... Ford will produce anything if they think its profitable.

The only reason why I feel any allegiance to the II, is because its my car. I've enjoyed owning it, modifying it, driving it, etc. To insult the horsepower and production capabilities of our generation then slap us on the back and say ah common we're all Mustang lovers is wrong. We invest time and money fixing these cars up and don't appreciate the criticism. My parents taught me that if you only have something bad to say, you should keep it to yourself.

Wart may have got the K.O, but I got in a few good shots! After seeing his messed up attempt at a very basic bolt-on, it is now clear to me why it is very important to him that his cars perform well out of the box! I used to sell Mac products at my store, and their productss always fit and work perfectly.
