A friend at a junkyard gave me a complete Mustang II Stock Suspenssion, frame and everything still atached all together.

I've heard that it can be put on a 65 mustang. I can't afford to buy a bolt on Mustang II suspenssion.

Anyone ever done this before or know anyone who could help me out on how to do the swap? Any step by step instructions?
Thanks
Raymond

1: you wont find a bolt on mustang ll conversion for the early mustang.

2: you need a custom crossmember from any of the custom suspension suppliers.

3: you need to reinforce the frame rails where the crossmember welds to.

4: you need to swap to a late model oil pan with a rear sump as the crossmember interfers with the stock front sump pan.

for the money and time you will spend doing this conversion, you can upgrade your stock front suspension, AND rear suspension, and have money left over. the only thing you will improve with the suspension swap is ride quality, as handling will decline with the swap.
