I paid less than that for mine with taxes included.

That was the bottomline price I paid for it on X-plan (all taxes included and extended warranty). Keep in mind the effect of the exchange rate on the car. Right now the CDN dollar is stronger than it has been in recent years, so the price of the car is probably a bit inflated.

According to the Ford Canada Website, pricing on GT coupe is 32995 CDN=$26070. This is essentially the same pricing as in the US.

"Oakville, Ontario - Ford of Canada announced that the 2005 Ford Mustang will start at $23,795 for the V-6 Coupe, a modest $300 increase over the 2004 model. The V-8 powered Ford Mustang GT will begin at $32,795, up $1,000 from 2004."

sacha are u sure its $41k canadian dollars

In Germany there are several dealers who import the Mustang.

Ford does not have the Mustang officially in its program. A big mistake, IMO.

I plan to get a GT in April 2006.

Right now the price for a GT without options is at 36950 Euros, that's appr. 46200 USD.

A 2 year warranty is included. This price is the actual sum one has to pay, it includes all applicable taxes.

$41K after all taxes. the price of my car on X-plan was about $33,000CDN, which as about $1500 less than sticker price. add to that warranty($900 on xplan), all the taxes and all that crap dealerships charge (freight tax, gas tax, etc.) and the bottomline was $41,000CDN

Given the current supply situation, I doubt that Ford would contemplate exporting Mustangs to Europe. The supply will probably catch up with demand late next year. In general, I believe that US auto manufacturers are presented with considerable trade barriers which make exporting to Europe or Japan prohibitively expensive. Isn't it ironic that millions of cars are imported to the US every year, with almost none being exported. I've traveled and worked in Europe and can attest that the reason for the disparity is not price or quality.

Like I said, I paid less than $41,000.00 taxes included for mine. I didn't buy on X-plan or anything like that either. MSRP on my car was $36,205.00 when I ordered it back in November 04, now it is $36,405.00.

How much provincial sales tax does Saskatchewan charge?

7%

I paid $34,500.00 plus tax for mine, that is $39330.00 taxes in.

I don't remember exactly what my pre-tax price was, but if you take your price of $34,500 add in the extra 1% sales tax in ontario (8% here), extended warranty and striping, and the price appears to be about the same.
