Mustang Mats

Umm, what I'm trying to say is, when you stated 8:15 DST in your initial post, no one is gonna know what time that is if you don't put EST, CST, MST, or PST. DST does'nt tell me where you live. 8:15 EST is gonna be 5:15 PST, so I should reply by then or it's too late.

I guess we're beating a dead horse here (no pun intended).

When the country moves the clocks ahead one hour in the Spring, it's understood that EST changes to DST on the east coast.

All other time zone names remain the same.

In the Fall we revert back to EST when we move the clocks back one hour.

I guess it's easier to understand if you lived on the east coast and went through these changes twice a year.

:rlaugh: dude...that happens everywhere in the country, not just the Eastern time zone (well except Arizona and a few other misc. places)...we all change our clocks for DST twice a year... :flag: they even do it in Canada too :canada:

EST becomes EDT, just like PST becomes PDT and CST becomes CDT, DST means Daylight Saving Time and DST doesn't equal EDT ;)

oh and I wouldn't buy those floormats again, they look good but don't last for ****
