Hey guys, I just went over 240000 miles on my 95 5.0! Did thry ever build a stronger powerplant. I have never even had the heads off. Clutch is the only major thing I have had to do on it. As you can tell I drive it alot and that's even in the snow(damn it!) Curious what everyone else has as far as milege.

My GT will turn 219k tomorrow. Still running strong, although it puffs a bit of blue smoke in the mornings.

My LX has 238k and as far as I know the valve covers have never been off the car. It still runs amazingly strong considering the miles.

I hope to get atleast 250k out of the GT.

148k Still runs like a top, valve covers have never been off, bu that will change soon. I have a leak in the VC gasket. nothing major has ever happened, except a bad computer, which took forever to diagnose.

Gotta love it.

'90 305k - The motor also got new rings, bearings @ 175k when the new heads & cam went in.
'92 125k - current DD. I'm ready to retire this one from daily duty while it's still in very good shape.

My notch has 230,000 km (145,000) miles, but everythings been rebuilt.
