...I met with Tyler today to get a short lesson (and to see his car--it's freak'in LOUD!!!)--and there was an immediate feeling there between us two Mustang owners which we automatically shared. It was pretty funny, we both just love Stangs and didn't have to really say much about it. It just cemented my thoughts on how Mustang owners simply "get it" with the link between man (or woman) and machine.

Oh sure, there are Mopar and GM fans--but nothing quite like the Stangs we all drive and love. It's like they're actual modern-day horses and there's definitely an emotional attachment unlike any other.

It's late, I'm getting sappy... But boy, I sure have missed a lot not having a Mustang all of these years--but makes "Michelle" (my Stang)--all the more special. Also, meeting all of you guys here online to share in my passion is just awesome.

Was fun, Matt. Thanks for letting me take a spin in your ride. Was a total kick in the pants driving a bone stock GT again.

Hopefully we'll see you out at the track here soon, or even at Burgermaster.

Oh, and thank you! Gives me something to look forward to once I start spending more money / find a decent shop. And by the way, I was practicing on your first lesson and shifting at redline all the way home. LOL My oh my was that fun--except for the damn cars who wouldn't get out of my way. I'll learn how to drive the 'ol Stang properly yet.

i know what you mean. ive had alot of muscle/sports cars in my days, and even a more current 01 SS, but mustang guys are just more "connected" they all just get along. im on my second mustang now, and i will never go back to a gm product again. every time you see another mustanger on the street you can give a nod or wave, and its cool. when i had my camaro and did that it was like i did something wrong(to other f-body cars) and was asking for it. ive even TALKED to a few mustangers while at a light, great group of guys, to mustangers its not all about the power or beating the guy next to them, its about the car, so it feels like were all family.
its late here too so maybe effecting me, but all said is true in my opinion. i love you guys! (not gay in any way shape or form, happily married for 16 years, to a women, just to make sure,and the bannana just seemed right for the comment i guess)

Almost everyone that I have met that owns a stang has been great. Yes Tyler's car is freakin LOUD. After I heard his car I had to go get my x-pipe put on. I love these things except when I open my wallet for another mod but what the heck.

LOL Brutal. I was going to put in a disclaimer there myself (married 8+ years, kids, etc.) but figured this is the one crowd I wouldn't have to do that with. And yup--no "gay" comments thus far--which reinforces what I said in the Subject Line... "Mustang People Rock."

B2k1GT--Oh, I hear ya. The only "con" to being a Stang'er is the hit the 'ol wallet takes!

if i have to explain it, i was saying sure they might be gay, while THEY are with a firebird, but doesnt apply to us, see were a better bunch of guys, we have MUSTANGS! i dont know, maybe what i said was dumb, i was just trying to salvage a perfectly good thread, maybe you should just let it go?
