I am looking for a good shop near Grand Rapids. By near, I realize that I may need to look as far as Detroit or Chicago. So any strong recommendations that far out would also be appreciated.

Here is what I am looking for. I plan to go with the Trick Flow top end kit (street heat) for my 1994 GT 'vert (5 speed). I am still evaluating whether I will do the install. So I want to talk to a good shop about how much it might cost to have them do it before I decide for sure that I want to do it. Also, I want to get it tuned once the install is done.

Any recommendations.

First, I assume that that kit includes heads/cam/intake.

Second, where are you exactly at?

Here is one place that comes to mind. There is a guy named Aya in Grandville. He only works Fridays and Saturdays I believe. He has a Mustang dyno and is an SCT dealer so he can tune you. He's not strictly a Mustang shop but I'm sure if you contact him he might help you out. Here's his website:

Or you can call Paul's High Performance. They are in Jackon, which is about 1 1/2 hour drive from GR. It's a strictly Ford shop and they sure would know what you are talking about. Pauls does have a dynojet dyno, but I have been told that it would be better to be tuned on a Mustang dyno because it is more realistic. Their site: http://www.paulshp.com/

Have fun
