Mustang Week!

Why is there no mustang week in California? I would think that in Los Angeles, namely the San Fernando Valley -which is the mecca of hot rodding- there would be a mustang week. Not to mention that California is the only state that has had a mustang named for it (GT/CS). Maybe I just keep missing it, but looking up mustang week.com it's only in Myrtle Beach it seems.

California is at it's heart anit-car. Those in power in California would like nothing better than for the car to become extinct.

Yeah, it's pretty lame here...we used hang out at Ricky n Ronneys car hop in Torrance..a few mustangs would show up, but then they completely shut down, we were told the near by residents complained about the noise. They made a big stink of it. I hear Rubys in Redondo has a car hop every Fridays I think?
