I was gonna put my old 16" five stars on my '93 Thunderbird I drive in the winter cause one of the tires is going flat and the tires are pretty good on the 16s. So I was going to do it last night and realized the guy who sold me the car didn't have the key for the locking lug nuts. So I went out to a Ford dealership and they took it off for me with their master set. I came home, jacked the car up, took one of the wheels off, and apparently they don't fit. It was so close, but just wouldn't go on there. Needless to say, I feel pretty stupid, but I always thought the 5-lug mustangs were the same as the Thunderbirds. I know I've seen a couple of T-birds around here with Cobra R's on them. Oh well. Just wanted to rant a bit cause now I have to buy a couple of tires for my POS car....or get it patched and have it happen again in a month or so.
