Mustang Wreck on TV this morning..

yeah, i caught that

driver died on-scene... passenger has minor injuries

seeing all the marks on the road..they must've been going a bit too fast.

****ty it happened.
CA plate, so i'd assume it wasn't a local forum guy

That night I was in Vancouver with a lady friend, walked out, and she almost took a spill because there had been freezing fog. I was able to keep her from falling, but I was a tad concerned with the drive home because freezing fog = black ice, and black ice = teh sux.

Too bad that someone lost their life. :(

I agree with the loss of life and another mustang. What bothers me though is that the newsies had to mention that it was a Mustang rather than a car.. WTF is up with the negative view of mustangs? Like it has anyting tio do with the accident that it was a mustang??

Cant say I am ever particularly happy with the staunch leftists that portray their own agendas through their media venue. Yet another one.:notnice:

There has been a war on speed racing and performance cars for a while. It could have been just a coincidence, or it could have mentioned and shown to allude to the driver going too fast. There are one car accidents everyday, and some die, and its not put on the news. Why was this one? Could be just coincidence though.

Tonights news was not any better, one caught on fire after the wreck, 1 died, one saved etc. People are just not slowing down or too occupied in something else and not paying attention. Makes it bad for all of us that trust our guts for "play time" in ours and we hopefully pay better attention than most.

I notice that I tend to be targeted a lot more by the cops now that I drive a Mustang. It's a stereotype that hasbeen placed on people because of the actions of others. It's total crap. A co-worker of mine has an older IROC and he gets pulled over all the time when he drives it too. I have only gotten 1 ticket since I have had my license, and it was from February for speeding. I guess I added to the statistics and stereotypes, but people make mistakes and this is my first citation in the 10 years I have been driving. I can't say that's too shabby, but a speeding ticket is still a speeding ticket.

ok ok ok...look...if you own a MUSTANG which arguably is the baddest car EVER built in all forms, you have to expect a certain amount of attention good or bad. Relish it. Embrace it. And keep that grin on your face at all times when behind the wheel.

The only time i was pulled over in my BOSS by the state, it was so the trooper could look at my motor and talk about classic mustangs for a half hour...

btw...who owns that red 'newer' mustang in Granite Falls?...geez..that thing is un-real...

Mustang...a wild horse that runs wild and free...
