I'm undecided on a few components with the susepsnion.

For example, I know I am going to run the MM full-length SFC's. a front strut tower brace and the rear brace I already have. I figure it wouldn't hurt to stiffen up my 30 -year old chassis. I'm also going to run the PHB I already bought.

Now, the undecided part. Full coil overs, or just get a well matched set of springs and shocks/struts. I currently have Mach 1 springs matched to a 20 year old set of tokicos. The shocks/struts are a bit weak. I don't want to slam the car, so i'm being very picky with regards to what springs I run, which is why coil overs appeal to me. At the same time, I probably don't need coil overs...but I would like to swap out the K-member at some point as well which means I need them up front at least.

Decisions decisions.

Reason I don't want to commit to installing the PHB now is because I only get 1-2 hours at a time to commit to wrenching on the car. Seeing as I really need to take my time and will need to hang the exhaust down, I don't see me getting this bolted on quickly. I can do the axle mount for now, but the chassis brace may need to wait. Winter is perfect because I can put the car up on jackstands, and get to it when I can. Right now..I want to drive the car when I get that free hour here and there. I'm also trying to wire up the garage for power, insulate it and sheetrock it before winter. Get a TV mounted and get a nice 220V heater and set myself up for some nice winter suspension work.

What I might do is finish the mass air swap. Just need to repin the ECU for it.

OK, after a night of reading and research...here's my suspension plan.

* means I already have the parts

Front:
MM Coil over kit (spring # to be determined)
MM 3rd gen struts
MM STB
MM Caster/Camber plates

Rear:
*MM PHB
*MM HD adjustable lower control arms
*OEM Ford Upper arms
Traditional Springs (H&R springs TBD)
MM 3rd gen shocks

Misc:
MM Full length SFC's

Possible future mod when I pull the motor is to swap in an MM k-member and MM stock offset A-arms. I believe the MM K-member/arms require a change to 96+ spindles as well.

After that, give me ~350HP N/A reliably on the motor and I think i'm done with the car....that is until I strip it all down and do a ground up resto on the body and paint it a different color.

Scored an NIB coil over setup for less than retail on CL.

Still need springs and struts but one item on the list I can check off

There's more to it but all I unwrapped

One more piece of the puzzle acquired.

Was going to take advantage of LMRs 7% off Father's Day sale, but the Daily Driver needed some suspension parts replaced. @7991LXnSHO was right. Both inner tie rods, one outer tie rod end, One rear lateral link and one rear wheel bearing...all at 85k miles.

So after speaking with Jack, here are the springs he recommended I try in the rear to match my front coil overs

H&R super sport springs for 94-95 mustang

He also recommended I try and track down a cobra 25mm rear sway bar. Part number f7zz-5a772-aa. Of course it's discontinued, so who knows if I can find one

Haven't done much lately. I've been driving the car a lot actually. If it wasn't so damn humid, I'd take it to work.

But been doing some little stuff. Seat belt sleeves were scuffed up, so I ordered some repros. Color is a bit off. Unsure if it's enough to bother me and force me to hit it with some SEM black. Prob not.

Oem on right. Reproduction looks bluer. A little longer too since I got 87-89 style but doesn't affect anything

When assembled, not too bad. Looks better than the badly scratched drivers side original

I also had a discount at reslinegoods for submitting some photos. So I ordered the leather dash cover. Only cost me $30 so let's give it a shot.

Ok. It's in. Kinda a PITA. You drill one hole, test fit, mark, drill test fit. Had to assemble and disassemble the brace a few times. But it's in and solid. I didn't drive the car yet to see if it actually did anything.

Gonna track down some cheap shock cover trims and cut those to fit and paint. My originals will go into my box of misc. black interior parts

Now need to track down a fire extinguisher for the left side, and a tether for the right.

Here's what I'm sort of doing. I really wanted to get a fire extinguisher into the car but never had any good ideas where to put it.

Latest delivery.

Fronts are on backorder until Oct. I was originall going to go with the custom MM bilstein struts but for my needs and spring rates they aren't necessary. They are pretty expensive compared to the Bil HDs.

I just need to track down the MM recommended 25mm solid SN95 rear sway bar and my rear setup is ready to install.

Up front, I still need some stuff

Brown Santa has been good to you

We need a pic of all the presents together that are under your tree

I guess I should wait for the rear sway bar to get here too.....but here the rear setup waiting for install. Already installed of course is the MM adjustable arms and new Ford oem uppers.

Springs are H&R super sports, for a 94-95 mustang

Back home, nice and tan.

This showed up in the mail. Should be an easy install except this pad has two stripped studs. I can't find what thread pitch the are to order the correct die and retap them. Need to solve that mystery before I install this
